How it works?

To send money to ATMs

  1. The customer goes to a Viamericas agency and provides the teller with the personal information of the beneficiary and the amount to send.
  2. Once the transaction is paid, the agent delivers the transaction receipt to the customer, and an additional receipt that includes a PIN number.
  3. The customer must inform the beneficiary with this PIN number, so they can withdraw the money at the ATM.

To withdraw at the ATM

  1. The beneficiary receives a text message with the amount to collect and a 4 digit MC Code.
  2. Simultaneously, will receive a text message with a link to the nearest participating ATMs.
  3. The beneficiary goes to the nearest participating ATM and selects the Cardless ATM option.
  4. At the ATM, the beneficiary selects the Mastercard Cash Pick-Up option and follows the instructions that will appear on the screen:

Screen 1

Please enter your US Phone Number in the field. If you don't have a US Phone Number, press on the International Numbers button and follow the instructions for the different phone numbers format. When you finish, press the "Enter" key of the ATM's keyboard.

Screen 2

Please enter the full transaction amount that you received through text message (no partial withdrawals are allowed). When you finish, press the "Enter" key of the ATM's keyboard.

Screen 3

Please enter the MC Code that you received through text message. This order number should start with MC and it's followed by 4 digits which are the numbers you must enter in the field. When you finish, press the "Enter" key of the ATM's keyboard.

Screen 4

Please enter the 4 digit Secret Code that the sender sent you. This code is NOT the same as the MC Code that you received through text message. When you finish, press the "Enter" key of the ATM's keyboard.

Screen 5

Please re-enter the 4 digit Secret Code of the previous step. When you finish, press the "Enter" key of the ATM's keyboard.

Collect your money and that's it!

You have received a one-time use PIN code to collect funds using “Mastercard Cash Pick-Up”. The PIN expires 30 days from the date you received the PIN text message. You may use the PIN only at authorized ATMs. If you have additional questions, please call (800) 401 7626.
